Food Access & Resources in Madison County
F.A.R.M. is Madison County’s community-focused food support program designed to make the farmers market accessible to all residents — especially those facing food insecurity or financial hardship. F.A.R.M. stands for Food Access & Resources in Madison County. F.A.R.M. serves as a tool to nourish bodies, build dignity, and strengthen the bonds of our community by making fresh, local food available to everyone.
At the heart of F.A.R.M. is our F.A.R.M. Bucks program. Through partnerships with market vendors and community organizations, we will distribute vouchers to community members in need. These can be redeemed at any vendor booth for fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, eggs, bread, or prepared foods. This ensures that families in need receive nourishing, high-quality food while also supporting our local farmers and producers. The Farmers’ Market will reimburse our vendors for purchases made with the F.A.R.M. Bucks.

PROMOTE INCLUSIVITY
In addition to F.A.R.M. Bucks, F.A.R.M. will support a series of community-events at the market. These farmers’ market gatherings will feature live music, children’s activities, educational demos, fun contests and special F.A.R.M. Bucks distributions. Each event will be designed to break down barriers and promote inclusivity — helping all residents feel welcome, engaged, and proud of where they live in Madison County.

F.A.R.M. utilizes a combination of market vendor fees, charitable donations, community organizations & grants to fund the program. NO candy, flowers, plants, crafts, or food truck items.
